Marc Anthony heads up another awards show

Marc Anthony Hair Care Selected as the Official Hair Stylists for

IIFA Weekend and Awards 2011

Toronto - June 20, 2011 - Marc Anthony Hair Care announced its participation as the Official Hair Care Sponsor of the year’s 2011 Videocon d2H International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards which took place in Toronto June 23-25, 2011. The IIFA Celebrations were hosted by the Province of Ontario and presented by CIBC. This remarkable weekend celebrating excellence in Indian Cinema consisted of the IIFA World Premiere of Double Dhamaal, IIFA Rocks presented by The Bay, IIFA Film Festival, IIFA Music Workshop, FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum, and the highly anticipated Floriana IIFA Awards presentation ceremony.

“It is an honor for both me and my International Styling team to participate in and support such a prestigious event” says Marc Anthony. As the official Hair Stylists for the North American Premiere of IIFA Weekend 2011, Marc Anthony and his elite Team of Stylists brought international beauty worthy of the Green Carpet.

The weekend began with private on-call styling appointments to key celebrities as well as exclusive Marc Anthony Styling Suites at the Fairmont Royal York and Thompson Hotels.

On June 24^th, Marc Anthony Stylists were found backstage styling models, performers and dancers for IIFA Rocks presented by The Bay, held at the Ricoh Coliseum. Among the designers showcasing their collections on the runway were Rajesh Pratap Singh, Sabyasachi, Vikram Phadnis and seven famed Canadian designers - DSquared, Mark Fast, Arthur Mendonça, Vawk, Calla, Erdem and Wayne Clark.

On June 25^th at the Floriana IIFA Awards, Marc Anthony Hair Care created exclusive backstage hairstyles for top talent, performers and dancers at the Rogers Centre. Stylists were on-hand to create outstanding hair for presenters and award winners throughout the ceremony.
