• Tyrosine and 5-HTP are both amino acids, naturally present in a pet’s diet. But, in an anxious pet, they have a gently calming effect. 5-HTP is the direct precursor to serotonin. And serotonin is the calm, happy chemical in your pet’s brain.
• Inositol, a B vitamin, is one of the most underused and underrated vitamins. Inositol has outperformed pharmaceutical antidepressants in clinical trials for humans. It works in the same way for pets.
• Magnesium, if deficient in your pet’s diet, produces symptoms of anxiety. I’ve added chelated (because chelated minerals are better absorbed) magnesium to correct this.
• A blend of gently calming herbs such as chamomile, well known for its ability to calm both mind and stomach.
