Winter Hair Problems Solved

THE BIG HAIR CHILL

Hot chocolate and cozy little fires give this coming Winter season its comfy charm; but as winter moves in and the air gets drier it begins to show in your hair and scalp. Cooler months and lack of moisture make it easy for any ice princess to suffer from dryness and some very chilling hair issues – split ends, breakage, static and frizz, among other things.
Fear not winter goddesses; Marc Anthony shares his hair solutions for a long winter at its beautified best.

 DRY HAIR & SCALP
Winter’s lack of moisture can cause a dry, flaky scalp and as your scalp dries out so does your hair. The air around you (inside and out) also lacks moisture and as a result sucks it out of anywhere it can find it, including your hair. Hair becomes flatter and also begins to lack shine.

SPRINKLE BEADS DUO  R79:99 Limited Edition at Selected Clicks Stores
The newest craze in nail art is called the caviar manicure; so named for the little beads on the nail that imitate the look of caviar.
It's really easy. All you need is a few coats of polish, some beads and top coat. We found that the smaller the beads, the better it worked. The beads we are using are about the size of sprinkles you would use on a cupcake.

STEP 1 After applying a base coat, apply 2-3 layers of the coloured polish of your choice.

STEP 2 You'll want to lay something like a piece of paper down underneath to catch all the excess beads. Here comes the fun part; while your polish is still tacky, pour the beads over your entire nail.

STEP 3 Gently tap the edges of your nail to get rid of extra beads. You'll also want to clean up the edges and fill in any missing spots with a few beads.

STEP 4 After apply the beads, you'll need to paint on two or more layers of top coat so that the beads hold in place and are strong.
Tip Top Tip: Top coat may remove some of the dye from the beads, but don't worry, call it a 'gradient' look and you're set!
